Out Of Pocket Expenses & Bill Payment

Payment Methods

Cash, check, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Health Savings Accounts are also accepted if they bear a Visa or Mastercard logo.


Out of Pocket

 $200 for Initial Mental Health Assessment 

 $180 for 53-minute sessions

 $175 for 45-minute sessions

 $160 for 30-minute sessions


Paying Your Bill

Payment is due at the time of service. If you have a credit card on file, we will bill it the following business day. If you have questions about your account or would like to make a payment by phone, please contact us directly.

Insurance information

How to use benefits

Frequently your insurance benefits may cover a portion of your sessions. If you are unfamiliar with your insurance benefit, call the number on your insurance card to inquire about mental health coverage BEFORE your appointment. 


We accept many major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company to confirm we are in-network for you. If we are out-of-network, you may have a higher co-pay or deductible. Should your insurance coverage change during the course of your treatment, please notify us immediately. Failure to do so could result in you being responsible for covering administrative re-billing costs and/or the full cost of your session. 


Unfortunately, we are not covered by CareSource/Medicaid, and some Medicare

plans.


PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT BILL SECONDARY INSURANCE! If you have secondary insurance, we will provide you with a Superbill to submit for reimbursement.

*Again, please contact your insurance provider to make sure you have mental health benefits available, find out if you have a co-pay or if you need to meet a deductible.

Important Information Regarding EAP's

 

  • All clients are responsible for verifying their EAP (Employee Assistance Program) eligibility and ability to use it at our location.
  • Clients are responsible for notifying us of their EAP eligibility and providing authorization information BEFORE their initial appointment. This is necessary for billing purposes.
  • Due to the high demand for EAP services, we will accept ONE round of EAP sessions, per client, per year. If a client's EAP provider issues additional sessions, and the client wishes to utilize these benefits, they will need to seek out a new provider.
  • Canceled EAP appointments count toward your total allotted number of EAP sessions. Please be mindful of this when scheduling.
  • We do our best to work with EAP providers. Failure to provide accurate information, willful or not, could result in an insurance claim being filed on your behalf, or you being held financially responsible for the full cost of your session. 

Cancellation Policy

We are committed to providing exceptional care. Please call us at (614) 439-1048 at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment (Monday appointments need to cancel the Friday before) to notify us of any changes or cancellations. Failure to do so will result in being charged a late cancellation fee.  



Additional Information

Reminder: As stated in the client agreement under “Release of Liability”, if we don’t hear from a client within 2 weeks of their canceled or missed appointment, you release Carrie Kroner MSEd, LPCC-S, CTP, NCC, BCTP-I from all liability of your counseling/care. Clients who have not been seen in-person or via Telehealth for 30 + days will also be discharged from counseling/care for liability purposes.

If proper notice is not provided when canceling an appointment the following charges will be assessed on the day of your scheduled appointment:

First occurrence –  Clients will be charged $75.00.  

Each occurrence thereafter - Clients will be charged $125.00. 

If you are using EAP services, you may also lose one of your approved sessions.

Balances older than 30-days are subject to a 2% per month finance charge as stated in your Informed Consent for Treatment form. Please let our office know if you have mailed a check.
