I work with children, teens, and adults to learn the skills they need to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression on their own. I truly enjoy guiding others and helping them to grow into the best version of themselves. I use my expertise and experience to tailor our time together to meet individual needs, whether that means getting on the floor to play a game to help a child feel comfortable, guiding families through productive conversation, or meeting with an individual to let them vent and gently pushing them toward productive discussion. I am qualified as a Certified Trauma Practitioner with The National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children. I have expertise in assisting clients who are struggling with traumatic life events. I am passionate about providing a safe, comfortable environment where clients become empowered to move from victims to survivors. I have 20+ years of experience and offer a caring and compassionate approach to therapy (with both adults and adolescents as young as 5), letting my clients know that they are not alone in their struggles. My ultimate goal is to teach my clients how to make their lifelong journeys more fulfilling. There is no set path to healing; it is based on each individual because no two people walk the exact same path. I am here to work with you, side by side, and ultimately help you reach your goal of healing, moving forward, and making your lifelong journey more fulfilling.

Greetings! I have been married for 21 years and reside in a small college town just outside of Columbus with my family. My husband, a military retiree with 20 years of service, is currently employed full-time in the IT sector. We are proud parents of two sons: one is a high school senior and the other is a student at Ohio State University. Additionally, we have a foster son whom we cherish; he is currently in his sophomore year of high school.
When I am not working, my husband and I enjoy engaging with our boys, date nights, and “one-tank” trips. I also take pleasure in outdoor activities such as gardening, playing with our dogs, and caring for our chickens. I relish cuddling with our cat and feel the most like myself when pursuing my artistic interests. As a family, we share a passion for travel and delight in exploring both local and distant adventures.
I am genuinely pleased to support Carrie in managing her practice. Having known her since the inception of her career, I have been continually inspired by her growth and her profound compassion for others. She embodies the "Breaking Wave," providing countless individuals with the tools to navigate their emotions safely and effectively. My aim is to alleviate her workload, thereby affording her more time to dedicate to her clients.
